In the fight against overweight all means are good. Of course, if they are not harmful to health, - warn nutritionists. And recalls that the most effective method is an integrated approach. An integral part thereof have long been various dietary supplements, many of which are actually allow to achieve encouraging results.

But how durable are they? And most importantly, are dietary supplements safe for the body?

Especially popular are dietary supplements that create the illusion of fullness, and additives - a meal replacement. They contain a lot of fiber, which is getting into the stomach, swells, which can significantly reduce the amount of food consumed. In addition, it improves digestion and promotes purification of toxins. The main disadvantage of these supplements is that feeling of fullness often comes later, than people have time to have a square meal. Therefore, the opposite effect occurs, and the weight increases. Diuretic dietary supplements, as a rule, in the form of various teas, make their contribution to losing weight. They actually actively remove excess fluid and processed products from the body. However, the abuse of such drugs disrupts the water-electrolyte balance, causes weakness in the muscles, makes the skin flabby and dry.

As a result, approximately 25% of the fat supplied with food is blocked and not absorbed, so the body begins to intensively burn fat stored in the cells.
