Olive oil: for the benefit of the organism

Olive oil is an excellent source of nutrients that benefit the body, both inside and outside. In addition to lowering cholesterol and reducing the risk of myocardial infarction, stroke, and even cancer, it also helps to maintain good health and overall health.

There are a number of natural cosmetics in which olive oil is used, for example, to cushion and protect the skin and nail for rapid healing of damage to the skin, for removing borings, and for slowing down the aging process. Here are just a few areas where olive oil is used successfully:

Massage Oil. Olive oil mixed with a few drops of rosemary oil, is an excellent tool for massaging tired legs and muscles.

The agent for the skin. Olive oil and salt, mixed in equal proportions are ideal for moisturizing the skin. Gently rub into skin, then rinse your face with warm water and blot with a towel.

Ointment for dry skin. 3 Art. l. olive oil, mixed with the pulp of a ripe avocado, considered a good remedy for dry skin. Use as a mask: Apply to face, leave on 10 minutes, then rinse your face with warm water.

Youth elixir. A good remedy for wrinkles is a mixture of olive oil with a little lemon juice: gently rub into the skin and leave for the night.

Nail strengthener. To strengthen nails is recommended to keep your hands within 5 minutes in the bath with warm olive oil.

Scientists at the American Research Center Monell have found that Extra Virgin Olive Oil contains a natural chemical that works similar to ibuprofen. It has been noted that the effect of 50 g or 4 tbsp. l. extra virgin olive oil is equivalent to 10% of the ibuprofen dosage for an adult.

The organic matter contained in olive oil and dubbed "oleokantal", like ibuprofen or other anti-inflammatory drugs slow down the action of enzymes that contribute to the inflammatory process, as well as playing a leading role in the beneficial effects of the diet on health, containing olive oil.
