Carlsberg is not planning major acquisitions

Carlsberg will focus on organic growth and does not intend to conduct a "transformational" purchases, says CEO Kees't Hart.

Earlier, according to the RNS, analysts have considered the possibility that Carlsberg will make any purchases of assets in Eastern Europe - one of those who put up for sale for obtaining regulatory permission to deal Anheuser-Busch Inbev - SABMiller.

"When we reduce their debt, increase dividends and really improve the profitability, then, I think we deserve the right to re-think about the purchases. But before that we need to focus on our organic growth and improving earnings before interest and taxes ", - he told Reuters Kees't Hart.

He refused any special comments about the Eastern European assets couple Anheuser-Busch Inbev - SABMiller. However, he stressed that the merger will not lead to significant changes in the market or on one of the 22 markets where Carlsberg is among the top-2.

Carlsberg Net debt at the end of the year amounted to 2015 30,9 billion Danish kroner ($ 4,75 billion).
