The FAS is examining the situation in the dairy market in Russia

The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) of Russia is studying the problem of discrimination against Russian producers of milk and milk products manufacturers counterfeiting. He told reporters Deputy Head of FAS Andrey Tsyganov on the sidelines of the XXV Congress of the RSPP.

"The main abnormality is that some market participants give out products that are not milk, for milk and dairy products, so in unequal conditions of competition", - Tsyganov said.

The presence of milk powder in dairy products from Belarus discriminates against Russian producers, if they do not do that, he said. "If our manufacturers do not do this, it means that discriminates. So, we need to look, how we can solve this problem, "- Tsyganov said. "If this milk (with dry -. Ed.) Bad, then you need some way to withdraw it from the stores," - he added.

The second problem, according to the RNS, which the FAS sees today in the dairy market - a certain price disparity, "when the regional markets milk collectors gather to conclude cartels and anti-competitive agreements and stick to raw milk prices."

According Tsyganov, the FAS reveals violations in the regional markets of milk and treats about 10 cases per year. "So that hooligans federal large companies, such at us was not yet", - he stressed.

Earlier, the head of the Rosselkhoznadzor, Sergei Dankvert, said about the deformation of the Russian milk market, as producers of quality products can not compete with those who produce cheaper products with the addition of palm oil. In particular, Dankvert drew attention to the fact that butter from New Zealand began to disappear from Russian shops, instead of which "Belarusian products came". The Rosselkhoznadzor believes that the Belarusian milk processing enterprises "out of greed" fake products by adding dry milk to it.
