Following the results of 2016-2017 years, analysts of the bank forecast the growth of fast food in aggregate by 20%.

The average bill in cafes at gas stations was 242 rubles. that 24% lower than in coffee shops (320 rub.). This allowed the institutions catering to the gas station ahead of the pace of growth in the coffee shop, where before attendance also grew, said the catering market analyst NPD Natalia Aristarkhov. Cafe at the gas station is one of the most dynamically developing areas in the non-fuel segment, confirms Roman Krylov - deputy general director for the related business of Gazpromneft-Center (operator of the network of gas stations Gazprom Neft). He accounts for almost a quarter of the proceeds from the sale of related products and services, he added. The revenue of the cafe at the company's stations in recent years has been growing at an average of 25% per year, this year the dynamics remain. Following the results of nine months of 2016, the revenue of Drive Cafe (operating at 800 gas station Gazprom Neft) increased by 26% compared to the same period last year. Most visitors buy coffee: by September, sales of this drink exceeded 1,6 billion rubles, notes Mr. Krylov. The average check in Drive Cafe this year grew by almost 20%, to 185 rubles., The checks themselves became more than 7%. In turn, analysts of Promsvyazbank predict that the turnover of catering for the first half of the year 2017 can grow by 1,2%. The main drivers of market growth will be food delivery, fast food, and restaurants with democratic prices. Turnover of the street food and fast food market in 2016-2017 can grow by 15-20%. For comparison: in coffee houses the growth of this indicator can make up only 2-3%. The total turnover of public catering in Russia in 2015 amounted to 1,3 trillion rubles, in nominal terms it grew by 5,5%.
