Latvijas Piens hopes for foreign investment

The investments of the German company Food wholesaler Eximo Agro-Marketing AG to supply milk processing company SIA Latvijas Piens would be desirable because it opens the possibility to develop and stabilize the situation, said the head of the Central Union of milk processors Janis Sholks.

"These investments have contributed to the competitiveness of Latvijas Piens and would help cope with the financial problems and the search for markets. It would go to the benefit of the entire dairy industry, "- said Sholks.

Now with the owners of the enterprise are negotiations about how the German company could come with their investments.

Eximo Agro-Marketing AG is planning to buy a fully or partially owned by the cooperative Latraps share capital of Latvijas Piens.

The company operates in the market of Latvia since 2013 years, purchasing industrial dairy products. In general, the German company is working on 50 markets.
