Lithuanian Vilkyskiu pienine "almost ready" for China

Vilkyskiu pienine, one of the largest dairy enterprises in Lithuania, could already export its products to China, but some bureaucratic formalities still need to be settled, the head of the company notes, reports LETA / BNS.

“We are not yet able to export, because the paperwork is not fully completed (from the state - BNS). But we are at the finish line. There was interest in our products - to dry foods and mozzarella cheese. These are the main directions about which we could discuss and see possible contracts and possible sales, ”said BNS Gintaras Bjertasius, who at the end of last week in China took part in the exhibition of food products Sial China.

He argues that the first batch of Vilkyskiu pienine dairy products in China will fit in one container - about 20 tons, but it is unclear when this cargo will go to China - the company cannot export it only because at the state level the clearance is very long forms and information transfer.

In mid-April, Lithuania from China received all the necessary documents so that processors could export products to this country.
