Moody's improved Carlsberg rating to "stable"

International rating agency Moody's improved outlook on the Danish brewing company Carlsberg Breweries from "negative" to "stable", the agency said.

"Improving the outlook on Carlsberg's rating reflects our expectations that the company will continue to reduce its debt to achieve a sufficient level of debt to EBITDA in order to maintain the Baa2 rating for 2017," the report said.

Moody's analysts note, reports the RNS, that these expectations are backed by cash flows, focusing on the reduction of debt and the degree of recovery of its key markets, such as Russia.

Carlsberg - Danish brewery group, one of the largest in the world. It includes the "Baltika", which owns eight factories in Russia.
