Budweiser Beer temporarily renamed America

Brewing company Anheuser-Busch, the most famous of which is the brand Budweiser, agreed to temporarily rename it to America. This is stated in a message on the website of the manufacturer.

The campaign will take place only in the United States and will run from May 23 before the presidential election in November. Its purpose - to support the patriotic sentiment in the country. According to the company, the change of label is designed "to encourage drinkers to celebrate general for America and the values ​​of freedom and authenticity of Budweiser».

The manufacturer points out that in this way tends to split with the Americans their values ​​and support them in the America's Cup soccer and Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.

The changes will affect both cans and glass bottles. On the new packaging next to the logo will be placed quotes from the US national anthem The Star Spangled Banner and patriotic song America the Beautiful.
