Russia plans to raise 106 million tons of grain

This year Russia plans to raise the grain yield in the amount of 106 million tons, said Wednesday at the head of the Ministry of Agriculture colleagues Alexander Tkachev.

In the year 2015 104,8 million tons of grain was collected in Russia.

“This year, under favorable weather conditions, we plan to harvest a high grain harvest - about 106 million tons,” said Tkachev.

He added, reports RIA Novosti, that “in many respects it is a merit of agricultural producers of the regions who are well prepared for the sowing season.”
