SABMiller puts assets in Europe for auction

SABMiller is considering the sale of assets in Central and Eastern Europe, Bloomberg reports, citing sources. Assets are estimated at $ 6 billion.

Chinese beer producer China Resources Beer Holdings, Japanese brewing company Asahi Group Holdings, Swiss investment group Jacobs Holding, Polish Kulczyk Investments and CVC Capital Partners can take part in the auction.

There is a possibility of participation of KKR & Co., Advent International and Mid Europa Partners, the sources noted.

The process of selling the assets, which includes the brand of Czech light beer Pilsner Urquell, should begin in October after the close of the deal on the purchase of SABMiller by the Belgian brewing concern AB InBev for $ 103,81 billion. Slovakia and Poland.
