Ukraine will check the prices of imported chocolate from the Russian Federation

Interdepartmental Commission on International Trade of Ukraine carries out an anti-dumping investigation into imports of Russian chocolate and other prepared foods containing cocoa, said the publication "Governmental Courier".

The decision was taken 26 May and the results of the complaint association "Ukrkondprom", acting on behalf of Roshen confectionery corporation, Kharkiv biscuit factory, candy factory "Kharkovchanka" and the company "Poltavakonditer".

According to the Ukrainian producers, between 2012 2014 year on supplies from Russia several varieties of chocolate and other prepared foods containing cocoa "could be carried out at dumping prices, and the level of dumping margin can not be considered minimal and negligible import volumes."

This could lead to "harm national producers", the newspaper notes.

The investigation conducted by the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine, according to RNS.
