Confectionery factory Ferrero Russia (Vladimir region, representing the interests of Italian Ferrero in the Russian Federation) will supply 2017 tons of Raffaello sweets to the Brazilian market by April 50, the company’s press service told Interfax.
“The supply of products to Brazil from Russia is associated with a season of high demand.
If European markets cannot “close” the demand of customers during this period, then we are ready to join. Currently, three shifts are operating at the Ferrero factory in the Vladimir region, if the need arises, production can be increased due to the summer period and due to the fourth shift, ”the press service said.
Thus, if necessary, the company will be able to increase output by 25%. Ferrero Russia has also already begun exporting to the Polish market: 80 tons of Raffaello sweets have already been shipped, another 150 tons are planned to be shipped before the end of November 2016. In total, export deliveries from the Ferrero plant in Russia now account for 10-15% of the total production volume.
The press service of the company added that Ferrero also plans active business development in the markets of Central Asia and the Caucasus region. The Russian representative office of Ferrero was opened in 1995. Since 1997, the Ferrero group is represented in Russia by the company Ferrero Russia CJSC. The company owns a factory in the Vladimir region, investments in which amounted to 200 million euros.
