In Latvia the production of alcoholic beverages falls

In the first three months of the year 2016 1 193 produced 395 decalitres of alcoholic beverages (except beers), in Latvia - 6,39% less than in the same period of 2015 years, according to the Office of State Revenue Service of excise goods.

Beer production, in turn, declined by 16%, writes LETA.

The greatest reduction in the volume observed in the production of wine - to 44,9%, in the group of fermented drinks volumes decreased by 49 909 decalitres, or 40,73%.

If we evaluate the content in beverages of absolute alcohol, the volume of production decreased by 0,54%.

As reported in the year 2015 5,348 produced million decalitres of alcoholic beverages (except beers), in Latvia -. To 2% less than in the year 2014.
