The International Arbitration Court has been sued for raider capture of Zhitomir confectionary factory

The owner of the company with the additional responsibility "Zhitomir confectionary factory" ZhL "Igor Boyko at the beginning of 2017, filed a lawsuit in the International Court of Arbitration in The Hague against the state of Ukraine.

“We filed a lawsuit with the Hague arbitration at the beginning of 2017.

The arbitrators have already been identified, the process of preparing for the court is underway, ”Igor Boyko told Interfax-Ukraine in a commentary.

According to him, the procedure for preparing for the ship's meeting will be lengthy. Ukraine has not yet submitted its lawyers abroad, all approvals are through the Ministry of Justice, which is very difficult to communicate with.

“The state of Ukraine expropriated my business. We filed a claim for compensation and damages. All the business that I had in Ukraine and abroad suffered, my firms abroad, including Switzerland, - official, not offshore - provided loans in the form of equipment, raw materials and cash from the Zhytomyr confectionery factory, now it has problems, and we do not control the enterprise, ”the businessman added.

Earlier, the director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine Artem Sytnik estimated the cost of the factory at 2 billion UAH.

As reported, in December 2015, Igor Boyko officially announced the raider seizure of the Zhytomyr confectionary factory, organized by Sergey Pashinsky, Sergey Tishchenko, Pavel Petrenko, Arsen Avakov, with the active participation of the president, as a result of which the company was excluded from the Unified State Register, and later - seized by force by.

Confectionery factory in Zhitomir was founded in 1944 year, the assortment has more than 250 names. She was among the top three market leaders, ranking first in terms of export performance, supplying it to 36 countries. The total production capacity of the enterprise is 80 thousand tons of products per year, the factory operates 28 production lines.
