Technological process

The technological process of the production of lipstick consists of the following bases GOVERNMENTAL stages:

 preparation of raw materials for production;

boiling sugar-treacle syrup (the hot mode of production);

whipping lipstick.

Features of use of food additives

In manufacturing lipsticks using flavorings, flavor enhancers and flavor colorants.

Flavours. In the production of lipstick is preferably used water-soluble liquid flavorings (fruit, chocolate, coffee, milk, cream, vanilla) and vanillin. Flavours in lipstick make when whipping the indicative dosage recommended by the manufacturer. The exact dosage is determined by the pilot production. The estimated dose of vanillin is 15 100 g per kg of lipstick.

Dyes. Lipstick is usually tinted with synthetic and natural water-soluble dyes, corresponding to the aroma, colors are usually sought for soft: for example, strawberry lipstick is tried to dye pink, but not bright red. Lipstick is colored and in bright colors, but more often from such a lipstick make a non-pare. Synthetic dyes are used in the form of aqueous solutions, natural ones are applied undiluted or also in the form of aqueous solutions when the lipstick is brought down. Dosage of synthetic dyes 2-5 g of a dry dye or 200-500 ml of an aqueous solution per 100 kg of lipstick. Dosage of natural dyes in accordance with the recommendations of the manufacturer. The exact dosage is determined empirically.
