Mirror icing for cake


  • 75 ml of water
  • 150 ml of honey
  • 150 g condensed milk
  • 1 Art. l. gelatin
  • 150 g sugar
  • 150 g of milk chocolate


  • Soak gelatin in 30 ml of water for swelling, it takes about 15 minutes.
  • In a saucepan with a thick bottom, combine the remaining water, honey and sugar. Bring mixture to a boil and boil for 2 minutes.
  • Remove pan from heat, add condensed milk and swollen gelatin. Add the chocolate broken into small pieces, quickly stir the mixture until it is completely dissolved.
  • Place the cake on a wire rack and spread the icing on it with a tablespoon. In no case do not level it with a spoon - allow the glaze to flow freely over the entire baking surface. To avoid any bubbles, you can pour the icing on the cake through a small strainer.
